Kay Hair Covid 19 Salon Procedures
To Our Valued Clients,
Below is listed the new measures that we have implemented to insure the health and safety of clients and staff.
By providing this information we want to put any concerns that you may have to rest. A detailed flow of events below will ensure you know what to expect upon arrival.
Only arrive at the time of you appointment. There is no longer waiting facilities.
Upon arrival your temperature will be taken, if you are deemed to have a high temperature or any other Covid 19 symptoms you will be asked to reschedule.
We will require you to sanitise your hands at our automatic station.
You will then be asked to put on a mask and disposable gown. These items are mandatory and a £2 charge will be added to your bill.
Your service will then begin. Social distance guidelines will be implemented in the salon between clients at all times.
Upon completion of your service we will remove and dispose of your PPE.
You will have the opportunity to pay via contactless card machine if you have not chosen to pay via bank transfer prior to you appointment. We will not be accepting cash payments at this time.
A record will be kept of your name, address, contact number and the date and time of your appointment. This information will be kept for 21 days and may need to be used in the event of a Covid 19 outbreak by the governments Track & Trace system.
Once you appointment has been completed the salon area will be sanitized ready for the next client.
All PPE worn by your stylist will either be disposed of or disinfected.
If you have booked in a colour service, a skin test will be needed at least 48 hours before your service. This is for all new & existing clients due to a time lapse between services. This is in accordance with the manufacturer’s instruction and ensuring we are working safely and legally.
All procedures that have been put in place are for yours, other clients and your stylist protection.
These procedures are to be adhered to at all times, without exception. We will not be able to carry out your service unless correct PPE is worn.
